is there something i need to do Tom to give you clues about what's happening?
I know that's a lot of voltages, but that would give us a pretty clear picture of what's happening with that part of the circuit, so I agree with Antonis. Go for it.

Okay i will. Should i take Q2 out of the circuit the way antonis mentioned too?

Here are the voltages

point 1: 4.77v
2: 4.79v
3: 4.77v
4: 4.79v
5: 4.77v
6: 4.63v
7: 4.86v
8: 4.51v
9: 4.86v
10: 4.79v
11: 4.85v

Removed Q2 before R11. PS at 9.11v

At least, you've tried enough.. :icon_wink:

P.S.
Particular circuit can't be classified as "noob-friendly troubleshooting"..
