Boss TU-2 and thoughts on mods...

I have an old Boss TU-2 someone gave me to have a tuner in the pedal chain that I never really used. I was thinking though, I could mod it into something else - after all it recognizes the frequency of the note! So... on this scheme, I see the leds for sharp/flat seem to have a ground that becomes available to each LED when needed; my current thought was to use those, so if you bend a note up or dive it with whammy, then those could change the sound of the notes. Perhaps progressive HPF and LPF on the Bypass line of the effect, so the more sharp you bend the higher the HPF cuts, vice versa form dipping flat? Any other thoughts on how to make use of it in non-tuning ways?

Input to an LFO to change rate of a modulation pedal when you go out of tune. Example - speed up a phaser when you bend.

That sounds amazing! Not sure how it'll go... I could easily put a voltage divider on the lfo signal to ground different resistors values to reduce the signal level. Hmm.. great idea though! Maybe to divide the resistor on the pot for a triangle, reducing it's resistance, increasing speed...could work. Would be cool for going flat to then slow down the phaser...
