Pete, I've heard live recordings of Hendrix that had the security guards' walkie talkies coming through his amp. I think it was on a version of Machine Gun. I bet the person giving you the most grief is your lead singer, right? Why are so many lead singers so darn prissy? (no offense to anyone reading) Tell them if it was good enough for Jimi, then its good enough for you.

A faint amount or very transient RF noise adds more realism than anything [except a reason for finickey pickers to chip on].
I can see if it's rediculous...but Ive Actually frown to like having the CB guy contribute for a second...makes most ppl chuckle
                        OT
...and helps fill any long dead spots [of which we're also known .. cuz of things like dude getting all interestid in the Transient RF that went away two minutes ago...lol] with something a bit more interesting than the sorry jokes the lead singer goes into...one of my favorite quotes: "where'd everybody go" [he says this even when the house is full and no-one's even left yet] that's a big pet peeve of mine...bringing up leaving [like it's not good enough for him, cause he saw someone go out to the parking lot] when I'm trying to entertain...lolol...some ppl have no horse-sense when it comes to entertaining...say you're having a party and YOU start asking where everybody Went...lol

"security personel, security personel."

i love when that happens at the isle of wight to jimi during machine gun. you can tell it pisses him off..he turned the vol knob back up. lol.

i noticed that live he usually clicks the ff off before a wah solo. i always wondered why he did that..know i know. you would think "the valve" would have figured out how to fix that?

I couldn't remember which recording it actually was, thanks b_rogers! That walkie talkie part sounds almost like it was meant to be there.   :D   I was thinking about making a pedal just to pick up rf.  ;)

he was having equipment trouble all night with the sound city crap..some really good playing and some bad playing that night..he died not too long after.

Didn't sound like that much fun.
What I heard about it the croud was nasty and claiming that the whole thing was a ripoff.
The VooDoo was somewhat squelched by that I think...one of them 'count your losses and go home gigs'.
