Modding the ColorsoundOverdriver

Hi,

i build the Colorsound Overdriver and like its funktion as a clean boost with much amount of boost!!!
I changed the 6.8K Resistor at the Beginning of the circuit (Q1 Emitter to Groud) to 8,2K, that makes The Gaincontrol better to control the distortion of the Circuit. (it comes earlyer) (perhapt a TrimPot at this Place would be
useful)....

Now i think of using clipping diodes to produce a real Overdrive Sound
in that circuit... But i have no idea, where to place them??

Any ideas??
