Has anyone seen this link before? I'm familiar with their amp schematics. Some of these look like relabled versions of some of the layouts guys here have done. Are most of these verified?

This is a hilarious anti-distortion sub link in the above:

The effects schematics there are largely mine and Jamie Heilman's work from the first schematics web site on the net.

Jamie put up the site from his university account, and he and I contributed about half each of the schemos.

The *heaven schematic sites are put up by Larry Holt, who gathered copies of other people's artwork from all over the net, put them up on his site, even stuff from my and other web pages with "do not repost" and copyright messages on them. When I asked him to not post copies of my artwork and articles, he told me to go pound sand.

In the ensuing discussion, he did a lot of what I believe to be libel on the net. The statute of limitations has not yet expired, and I may still sue him for libel if it ever pops to the top of the priority pile.

However, the contested materials did get pulled off his site, and the *heaven sites only contain materials that he has permission for, or at least benign neglect from the owners to the best of my knowledge.

I think that here is no material there that is not also available other places, as the earliest stuff was all pulled from somewhere else. I don't follow the content very closely.

In response to the questions in the forum - PCB Layout for Musical Effects is available from The Book Patch. Search "PCB Layout" and it ought to appear.

Thanks for the info RG. I hope you didnt take me posting that the wrong way. I didnt mean it as a "cool link for everyone". Like I said, they looked like ones I had seen from some of the sites you guys have. A good idea is a good idea, but life's to short to be stealing someone's sweat and inspiration just to boost an ego.

It would be nice to see some of you truly talented fx men out there start a schematic "co-op". One site for good, correct circuits. No wannabbes allowed. The authors would get the credit they deserve, and it might pull the carpet out from the posers and re-labler's. Most of us would like schematics we can trust, and would probably assume that "if it aint here, it aint right".

Let me add that virtually all of these schematics are available on Aron's Schematics site in corrected versions while the Schematic Heaven site has the old uncorrected copies.  Caveat Lector.
