Will X-Rays damage JFETs?

I got some 2SK30A-Y and 2SK30A-GR JFETs from a very helpful guy in Japan today, and he mailed them to me wrapped in foil packaged in an envelope, and apparently the post office or customs took issue with it and possibly X-Rayed it.  Will X-Rays damage JFETs?

Also, is there an easy way to check JFETs for function to make sure they're working before installing them in a circuit?

TIA

Modern security X-ray machines are VERY low dose. I very much doubt that they will have suffered.

Thanks guys!  That's great to hear because these FETs are impossible to find in the US!
