Which of these three inductors?

Hi all.

Ok, after actually looking on small bear, I did find some inductors, as I said before I couldn't find any... I actually bothered to look on there though and there they were...

"Fulltone Clyde Inductor"-29.95

"Dunlop Wah Inductor"-12.50

"Dunlop Fasel Re-issue Wah Inductor"-20.00

I have a Dunlop Crybaby, the standard wah pedal, no Q adjust or anything, just the regular GCB-95 model.

So, I am guessing that the Dunlop wah Inductor is the same thing I already have.

Which would you all recommend for a better replacement?

Clyde or the Fasel Re-issue?

I remember reading about the fasel inductors on some site at one time, but can't remember the difference between red and yellow...

And, I have never heard anything about the clyde inductor.

If the price dictates anything.. the clyde would be better, or rarer, or more popular.

Anyone know the difference between these, or care to share experiences or knowledge?  I am asking because I feel comfortable ordering from small bear and they seem to have them in stock.

Thanks in advance, Matt.

I couldn't tell you which one to go for (my Crybaby walked off before I could mod it), but if you click on the search link above and enter "clyde or fasel" as the keyworks (without the quotes), you'll find all kinds of info. I think there is at least one "shootout" comparison in there too.

I hope that helps.

Take care,

I'm pretty happy with my reissue red Fasel.

I've got a Dunlop. A few years ago the inductor took a dirt nap. Replaced it w/ a Fulltone & have been very pleased.
Don't have any experience w/ the Fasel, but, you should be able to try one out at a local shop. Something I can't do w/ Fulltone stuff.

Don't know why but that phrase strikes me as really funny this morning.

Right on, thanks all.

I'll search for those keywords and do some reading too.

Thanks for the info everyone.

Matt.

I think I am leaning towards the red fasel, but I'm still unsure between that and the clyde... I am assuming that's the morely ansil?

Thanks.
