TS-808 crazyness

In the last couple of days there was a TS-808 sold at ebay for $ 315,-- !!!

thats not all :

now at EUR 351,--  :shock:  (more than $ 400,-- I believe)

for EUR 100,-- i would modify any TS to TS-808 specs, including an Malaysian RC 4558 and film capacitors instead of the electrolytics (1µF).

So these crazy guys could get at least 2 for the same money... :?

I've seen them going for the equivalent of more than $500 here in Japan. I've heard rumours about $1,000 prices!

Glad I kept my original. I think I paid $49 for it in the late 70's. :lol:

I'm going to start leaving it home and taking the clone to gigs. Someone might snatch it one of these days.

ive heard of them going for well over $500 on ebay.  I've seen them at a local shop for $750.  new in box... they did sell it... to a collector of course:D
