A 51pfd. makes sense, the G could be a tolernence but what could the 3 stand for?
The electronics assistant won't give a value for a 51 G cap at all but it will for a 513 G, so I am confused about which it is.
Is there ever an instance where the numbers of a code will be separated by some lettering or can I safely assume it is a 51pf?
Ugh what a pain the place I got them from is open once a week and they across town. I need to remeber to check these things and label as I go.
If size gives a clue it is about .375 in length, almost .100 in wide and somewhere near .150 in tall.
Thanks!!

That sounds like a 51pF to me. I've never seen the value seperated into two different areas. To understand that 3, you'll need to go to manufacturer data sheets. Maybe you can find a picture here: http://www.cde.com/ .

Take care,
