I've schems for the PDS1002 somewhere if anyone is interested. I own two of those, but never tried the 8000.

the psd8000 still holds up really well against much newer pedals.  the smooth time shifting and long overlapping samples are quite nice.

I have the RDS900 which is the rackmount version.  It was my first delay that lasted more than a day (my ibanez soundtank broke after being dropped three feet into grass, it was waaaayyy before I was into DIY) I love that thing dearly, between the hold function on that with the time/pitch changing and my space echo that I bought shortly thereafter really developed the way I play guitar.

i had one of those. pds1002 that is.
in my memory it wasn't awe inspiring tonewise... it did do a nice long delay tho...
but it was pretty anemic sounding iirc... needs mods!!

yah, they are a little anemic, but not bad for what they were. i'm psyched, i sent one to petey two finger, and now with the schem from bean, maybe he can get it running...

lookin at this now , thanks pjp , man i never thought i would see one again . mine was locked in the trunk of the volvo when the trunk latch broke off . then i found it years later before i junked the car . years later my rythm guy fried it pluggin a RC car batt into it ....
