Is this bypass with 2 loops right?

I want to build a bypass box that can also switch between 2 effect loops, and have leds to show which loops are active or whether they're bypassed.  Now, I checked out some info on Geo and came up with these two diagrams.  The left one is the switching without the LEDs -and I think that's alright- but the second one is with the LEDs and I don't think it's quite right.  I'm guessing that the enclosure will ground all the jacks, but with this LED setup, there will always be one loop indicator lit even when the box isn't in use...right?

So...how would I make it so the battery is disconnected until a cable is plugged into the input jack?  (assuming I've got all the switching stuff right).

same as always - use a stereo plug and connect the battery negative wire to the ring lug

The way you have it, either the A or B LED will remain lit, Yes.

Oh!  So I'd just have to connect the ground from the battery to the ring instead of the sleeve of the input jack and it'll be ok?

hey bobble..  if you dont' want the fxloop leds to light in bypass heres a corrected wiring.  also the original pic shows the bypass led to light in the loop mode.

both of these are fixed here
