I have been looking at T922 scopes.  they seem to go prety cheap, and lots of people know how to fix them, but many dont include probes.

I know they are long discontinued, and i know very little about scopes.  this might seem like a dumb question, but can any old probe plug right in to it, or are they proprietary.  if so, how hard would they be to find..... could i make my own?

If those scopes use BNC type jacks, you should be able to use any probe that uses a BNC connector.

Hi Brian,

did a search @ ebay

came up with a T912......close(?)

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3800319597&category=45005

this seems like a good audio test bench scope.
try 2 get one that works "right out the box"
price range??? mayB $25 2 $75....no more.
I've found 465B's 4 less than $150.

the inputs are all BNC.
tektronix(and hp) use a special connection in their probes
2 automatically change ranges when U plug in a x10 probe.
U don't absolutely need this, U can change ranges manually.

IMHO a scope will B your most valuable tool in stompbox
R&D.  A good signal generator can B built with a few ICs.
U can listen to the electrons with an amp and speaker,
But, with a scope,, well can U "see" the electrons?
