Took out John Hollis' Crash Sync Drive tonight.  Fiddling with the trimpot  I found this unexpected, cool-sounding spot near the most ccw point where there's a REALLY strong octave DOWN effect, especially playing near the 12th frets.    The band sweep of the trim has always been cool - I'm sure somebody's used an expression pedal there.   But this octave is worth a  listen if you have one of these beasts.  The spot takes alittle patience to find.  Has anyone else heard this before?  Still wish there was a way to zot out that horrid hum - seems he only way to minimize it is to play through it or over it....[/i]
