Wow the Vox Valvetone is another TubeScreamer-based pedal.  Does it sound better than the run-of-the-mill TS?

Phillip, I don't own a Vox Valvetone (V810?) but I have had a few discussions with others about this pedal ( I think on this forum??) and it apparently does sound similar to a Tube Screamer.  The general consesus from just about everyone I talked to was that it's a nice sounding pedal but it is surrounded by a good deal of hype.  So, if it's cheap buy it but don't waste big $$ on it when you can get a TS-5 for $20.  But the enclosure is way cool!!
