I've given Fuzz Central a long overdue facelift...a completely new design.  Still working out a couple of bugs, but all should be fixed soon!  Check it out :)

Very very nice!  Thank you! I would like to personally thank you and Greenfuzz website in UK for your websites,  with those two websites and help from Ammscray I have entered tonal Nirvana.

Deep heart felt thanks

I find the disabling of the right click highly annoying but other than that, awesome site!

I'm not sure why folks do the right click thingy, but I could view source if I really wanted to steal your content, if that is the reason (or disable javascript).

good job phillip!
   nice link section too :wink:

I just fixed the CSS file...I still had the link to the background image looking for it on my C drive (and everyone elses C drive that went to the site).  Now the background image should appear and the background should no longer be white ;)

Nice new look, but I have one issue....

This could be the fault of my browser or my astigmatism, but the buttons to click on the various effects at the top of the page are very small, and kind of hard to read (sort of looks like 6pt type)

Is anyone else seeing it this way?

Thanks for the site as well!

Hold ctrl and use your mouse scroll button to scroll down. It'll increase the letter size. Alternatively go to the View menu, select Text Size and go for medium or large.
I don't like Holland. Nobody has the transistors I want.

...but I don't want to make all the OTHER text on the internet huge.... just yours.....

I'll live.

Yeah, me too! Especially on pages with lots of links that I'll most likely want to go back to. I prefer opening links in a new window rather than having to use the BACK button and wait... PITA

Exactly, and what if you want to right click on a link for a schem and save it to your hard drive? Its very annoying and doesn't really accomplish much, if anything.

Fuzz Central is still a great site though.

Here's the offending javascript:

<script language="javascript">
<!--
var message="";
///////////////////////////////////
function clickIE() {if (document.all) {(message);return false;}}
function clickNS(e) {if
(document.layers||(document.getElementById&&!document.all)) {
if (e.which==2||e.which==3) {(message);return false;}}}
if (document.layers)
{document.captureEvents(Event.MOUSEDOWN);document.onmousedown=clickNS;}
else{document.onmouseup=clickNS;document.oncontextmenu=clickIE;}

document.oncontextmenu=new Function("return false")
// -->
</script>

Fortunately, I use a browser where I can change the user agent to anything I want, so hopefully,  that is a good workaround without disabling javascript or doing view source. Man, after viewing source  on that page, I have a massive headache. I haven't seen that much Javascript on a page in a long time!  :)

Maybe the whole "save image to your harddrive" thing is the whole point of disabling the right click ;) But yes I find it annoying too.

I don't think that is the point, I think he's trying to keep people from direct linking to his images. It wastes his bandwidth when people do that, and then the site isn't accessible for some time.

Whenever you veiw an image on the web, it is usually saved to your harddrive automatically by the browser, in an effort to cache content.

Saving the images to your hard drive actually saves phillip bandwidth, as then you don't have to keep going back to his site and looking at the schems over and over.  :)

Gahahaha!  With OSX and safari I can right click away!

You know, I open an average of 200 windows every 10 minutes or so I use Safari, just because I'm a "open link in new window" addict.

I use firefox because I love to open stuff up in TABS. Tabbed browsing is awesome. It is the ultimate in multitasking.

On a mac, my fingers command N (new window) command 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 (for my toolbar favorites), and then command ` to cycle through them and right click-open new windowon each of them.

Hey, you guys run a website the receives over 12,000 hits per month like Fuzz Central, deal with the volume of email that I have every morning waiting for me, find ways of setting things up so that I don't overrun my bandwidth limit and do all that daily for 3 years running...then come back and complain about a no right click script ;)

Most of the trash java script in the source is inserted by tripod...not my fault.
