Can someone show me a way on how to silence a DOD Thrash Metal FX?
When I newly bought it, it is fairly quite aside from the normal humm
when increasing the distort. But now, it almost sound like the volume
and distort level is always at its max.

Thanks!!

Travis

Is it noise caused by the gain itself (hissing), or gain enhanced mains hum?

If it is mains hum:
Are you powering it with batteries, or a wall-wart?  If you power it with batteries, does the hum go away?  Etc.

We need a bit more information about the nature of the noise.

Battery or wall-wart its still the same.
The noise is like when you touch the positive end of guitar cord
but not that loud.
