Hello Everyone
This is my first post here and hopefully you can help me out.

Me and a friend embarked on making this pedal the Big Muff Pi
Here is the link  http://www.tonepad.com/project.asp?id=3

So we made this and used the offboard wiring schematic number 2 from there site.
Here is the link http://www.tonepad.com/project.asp?id=35
(go into the layout section and look at number 2)

So here is our problem, we wired it all up and tested it. There was no distortion, only the sound you would normaly get when plugging a guitar into an amp. When we pressed the footswitch it made a crackiling but didnt change the sound. THe pots didnt do anything either. The "TIP" bit of both jacks make a popping/crackling sound when touched, and both are soldered to the middle terminals of the footswitch. Maybe that has something do with the problems.

So does anyone know what is wrong with our pedal?
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix it?

Thanks
