HY ALL,
I`D LIKE TO USE MY SMALL STONE CLONE IN A FIXED POSITION, WITHOUT OSCILLATION, LIKE IN THE EDDIE VAN VALLEN`S SOUND. I KNOW THAT HE USES THE FAMOUS MXR PHASE 90. DOES NOBODY KNOW WHAT I HAVE TO MODIFICATE IN THE CIRCUIT TO HAVE THIS OPTION? (I BUILT THE PIEDRITA AND THE SOUND OSCILLATE WHITH COLOR SWITCH IN BYPASS AND THE RATE POT TURNED ALL THE WAY DOWN. IS IT RIGHT?

He used just  very slow oscillation.Speed knob on minimum- script phase 90.
I have bought one old block logo phase 90 very cheap. The seller said that it was not working properly.

Guess what was wrong..........

.....the little trimpot shortened to ground(contact with the box). :P
Easy fix! :D

Although I can't say for certain because I've never looked at a small stone or have ever tried this sort of mod, you could probably make the LFO incredibly slow by adding a switch that adds a resistor in series (SPDT in this case) with the "slower" lug of the pot and the circuitboard, maybe 500k or 1meg if you're feeling risky.  Then, you could put the switch on normal speed, find the various "tone" you were looking for, and quick flip the switch so that it locks into place... even though it wasn't really LOCKING, per se, moreso being really really really slow, but it'd still give you the same effect, at least for the next few minutes.
