Thank u so much but my question is:
what is "ground"? where can i connect to "ground"?

I think this is my problem
And i don't know how i can connect the jacks
Please, look at the pcb layout and tell me why there is just one point to be used for "guitar in" and one point for "guitar out"

Thanks

Connect the guitar to the input and the amp to the output if you won't try it with the switch. Connect ground to the jacks' sleeves (the point that are in contact with the iron "hole" of the jack) and connect -9V to the ring of one jack. Then the power in the circuit will be on when you have a plug in the jack. See this pic for more info about the jack:

I've applied the mods to the circuit
I think it works because it produces some kinds of noises but they are not exactly as the mp3 you can hear in the web.

Probably it is because the pot 2 i've got is log (non linear) and it is posible there's some bugs after all.
I'm gonna go on and see where's the problem
I see you later
Thanks

Well, this is a start. There are some noises in the sample that can be got turning the pots when you play some note.

Tim Escobedo

With all those pots, it's quite possible to make it oscillate several ways. with some settings, you can "play" the circuit all by itself. At other settings, the guitar's volume and tone controls control the oscillating points.

One thing to notice, even with all the knobs, there is no real "gain" control. P3 is the closest thing, although I view it as more of a "tone" control. And it's very interactive with P1 and P2.

Hope it makes good noises for you.

I have build the effect and it works grate...also I did substitutions with most common pots such as 500K-470K but I have a small problem with that pot. When its in the last 1/4 it screams just like you search radio frequencies can some one tell me what is the problem?

gogiche

I have also changed the 500K with 1M the problem (screaming sound in the last 1/4 of the circle and max) how can I repair this...?? :icon_frown:

Taylor

It sounds like it's working the way it's supposed to. That shreaking is part of what it's designed to do, I think. Listen to the sound clip here and see if this is what yours sounds like:

Yes it's working grate except the 500K pot...so everything is nice in the 3/4 of the range of the pot...after or before(it depends how you'll connect it min of max on the left or right) there is a sound of screaming like microphonia or like when you search for radio-station piiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiip  :icon_redface:  I have build it from the gaussmarkovwww.gaussmarkov.net webpage
