Puretube: I think that you probably would have got them for about $0.25-$0.35 because of air-freight to Germany. Still a good deal.

Wizard: Once again, beautiful work! You have an excellent feel for layout and graphics. Your Power Wizard is the perfect advertisement for the SCD-522 jack :) . BTW, have you tried using plastic washers on the inside to space the jacks inward?

Yeah, I bought a couple there.  I can see the advantage to building the circuit before loading it into a box, but they don't look very good from the outside.  The traditional ones look so clean and neat.
I am noob...

You can space them in with plastic washers. They won't take up any more internal room than the standard ones.

Thanks for your admiration ~
I don't have the appropriate washer to fit  the jack, but I think it's a good idea!
I also think that SC should give me some discount for pushing their products so hard.
I DIY therefore I am.

The Landlord is Dead

After reading this post, I went over to supermetronics and picked up a couple of these. The only problem is they come out to far. I needed an xtra bolt on the inside to keep it from protruding to much. Maybe I missed something obvious and someone has a better solution.
