It's a nice page on the original Nyle Steiner VCF with switchable LP/BP/HP/AP responses. Very similar to the VCF that showed up in that old Japanese effects book.

WOW! COOL!

I have the Steiner's Master Touch - breath controlled VCF/VCA.

Awesome timing! I picked up a PCB from Ken Stone not too long ago, and am just about to get to it! 8)

Thanks, Tim!

Did you notice the Shepard generator hidden away there? Who's for Barberpole phasing?

Are you telling me there is a barberpole board in that picture? Now that sorts out the men from the boys!

BTW.: Peter: it was not in a PM with you, but in a discussion with Mark H.

DRAT!!! I had recently read about and observed the Shepards Tones and had thought there was an applicable way to do this with phaser.
Last night I recalled that Boss has a phaser that is supposed to do this.
Well nothing new under the sun

Cool stuff. Over my head but cool none the less.

Yes, I have the circuit for this which was very disappointing. Don't even think about trying to make it. I'd wait until someone comes up with a buildable analogue version.
