Amz mosfet boost done! 5k lin? or 5k log/rev?

I spent too much time trying to figure out such a simple build and failed...so i remade it with all new parts and it works great--sometimes better to do it that way w so few parts involved versus time expinditure. Anyway, what kind of pot is used ..i see it said 5k..but 5k what ? ka? kb? i have the 5kb lin and it works backward. Did this mean i needed a rev log/lin? what value did anyone else use? IS this for volume/tone? I didnt see thast either..i just built it. A good quick build.

Switch the wire on the outside lug of the pot to the other outside lug and the pot will work properly.  I would use a Linear Taper pot.
