Just wanna know what you think about this.
I'm into guitar synth. I've build s&h, filters, etc. But it seems that keyboards don't just use filters as seq steps. They vary the pitch. so i was thinking...
The rocktave divider is amazing. And it's got the posibility of changing the intervals just by adding a cd 4017. So why not have a gate, like 4066/ etc like in transmogrifox s&hold, to connect the different points, and have random intervals at the 4017. Maybe before or after putting pwm or uglyface for synth sound, and a filter, and i'm sure it will sound analog, and fun. Just with a filter at the end, and using only octaves and fifths, can sound like depeche mode or chemical brothers, right??
I think i'll try it someday...soon. Anybody interested in sharing the design with me??. Thanks a lot for any opinion/comments!!
