hard to find parts and o.t. questions

sometime soon (this weekend or next) i will be making a trip to an electronics surplus store.  they often stock out of date parts, from tubes to wire.  i am looking for a couple of transistors and felt bad about the hour long drive for just that even though i always find other stuff.  so............ if any one can think of any out of any out of production tranistors or other parts for building fx, etc. if they would like let me know and i will look for them.  i will be glad to ship if i do find what somebody wants, so long as they pay parts price and shipping. price should be cheap if they have what you want.

also:is there anyone that can recoamend good free or cheap web space.  i would like to creat a web page for my band and upload schematics etc. also web page making software?

Microsoft Frontpage is useful for making plain vanilla websites. I can't really say which free webhost is good but I use geocities. It's limited but it works. If you have Microsoft Office look for Frontpage on the CD-ROM
