OK, here's the scoop:

It's an enclosure for TUBE PEDALS!

COOL!

I think it's this one:

I think the price will be something around $32 (LIST).

David

How many do you have to order at a time to get that price?

aron

David,

That's list. If there is enough desire to get this cool box, of course I can help out.  8)

puretube

BINGO - Aron won!

but Mark chose the right dozen!!

(and: I had been referring to the fact, that it`s not a "SmallStone" enclosure)

usually the first one to the egg wins....
there`s a chance they`ll soon be backordered,
after  :?:  put his order...

Hal

just so you all know, a CA3094 is a combination of an OTA equal to the CA3080 and a Darlington emitter follower.

cool i guess.

those encolsures are pretty hot :-D  now all we need is ones that come wtih stomp switch, millenium bypass, LED, input and output jacks, and we can be _really_ lazy.

I dunno...$35 a pop...thats kinda pricey, even though its really cool.

...and a 13700 is very very very similar to 2 independant 3094s in one DIL16 sized chip... ("centrefold"?)

btw.: Hal, now you made 35pops out of 32pops.

not too long ago, here in germany there was a currency (DM), which was about half a buck;
so those old europeans see your calculation as 70pops instead of 64 pops, which makes it look even worse, although it`s the same percentage difference...

wait what the street-price will say...

concerning shipping costs: you might be the one who could walk (or bike)
over there, and get`em in person...
(or is that Island too long?)

Hal

that made no sence :( haha

i still cant find it on the web page :(

edit: I seeee....2005!   ok i need to wait a couple months for it.

and btw, the island is a 2 hour train ride.  Faster by car, but driving in the city (and parking in the city) is _not_ fun.

Ge_Whiz

Uuh, tube box - is that all. Like, what's wrong with a large diecast? Put in a window if you wanna check they're glowing...  :|

puretube

of course anybody can roll his own diecast box...

jsleep

Ok Puretube, if you can give us a source for those cool little (toroid?) transformers you use, we'll be all set.   No wait!, make us guess ;-)

the chassis and the trafo are from the brandnew printed dealer`s parts cataologue 2005 - so this info is near future info...

Has anyone used these enclosures yet? Are they still availible? What project(s) did you use them for? How do you like the "fit and finish"? Are they worth the cost in your opinion?

>>>That IS good to know !!!
OT...We used to cash in our dollars for DM's and head to 'downtown' Bitburg to spend them...these were some good Times ! Trainset Accessories, Extremely Powerful Fireworks, Bratwurst,....We never went for the beer though.
