Has anyone tried combination Fetzer Valve with Ruby amp and If,
is it worth while building - I've built the Ruby and happy with it.

Putting the Fetzer Valve in front of the Ruby will add more gain and maybe a touch more treble to the sound, due to the buffering effect on the input.  If you don't need these, just continue the way you are.

Hello,
I built a little Fender Champ style cab for a 10" speaker. I want to put a Ruby board and a Fetzer Valve board in it, and have a 3PDT switch on the top panel of the amp to bypass the Fetzer.
So far the Ruby works just fine, but I can't get the wiring right for adding the fetzer in front. Each board is tested, but I'm not sure how the power supply/ground scheme should look when an effects pedal is permanently mounted in front of a Ruby amp in one circuit.

I put the  UMI Buzztone and Expander (built using PinkJimi's vero layout)  in front of the Ruby and it sounds great. Really nice fuzz and sustain at relatively low volume, and the Expander seems to give it a clean boost.
