I have recently aquired a univibe foot controller for a few dollars with the thought of building a remote wah controller.  The only thing is the univibe pedal seems to have a switch under the heel of the rocker.  Whats the purpose of the switch?

on/off one would imagine.

Did you buy it as working? It's supposed to have a pot. You could try remote Wah, or a new idea I had. You take an envelope filter such as the mutron and put a volume pedal infront of it. You can raise or lower the pitch. Good buy though (most peeps on this forum (including me) would kill for a foot pedal enclosure).

Will, is it a Dunlop, or is it a real Univox ?, for if it's a Univox, I'll trade ya 3 foot contoller shells for it.  :D  :D  :D

It's a Dunlop pedal.  I'm actually unsure what exactly the switch is for.

Here is a picture of the switch.  The little red button is the switch.  The arm thingy is depressed when the pedal is rocked back.

This is the inside of the pedal.  Plugging the cable into either jumper made no change in the value somming out.

the Switch was not for turning it on or off, that was on the main box on the 1 I had, mine had a modern or vintage switch on the main box, they might have moved that switch to the heal of the Rocker to toggle between the 2 sound's, but then again It might be a dfferent feature.
