what's a good tube overdrive pedal     already have ggg's Tube Driver schematic   just looking around before i decide what to build

hey thanks   isn't the shaka tube one of aron's builds     is the scheme somewhere on this site??  how many volts does it use  don't want to get into any high voltage projects yet!

All you need is a 120VAC to 12.6VAC transformer with a current capability of about 300mA to build it. No high voltage here...  8)
