I know that this will be a stupid question for many here but is .xmfd  the same a .xuf  sorry but couldn't find in FAQ or Beginners

Actually, the u in the unit symbol uf means micro. mfd. is just abbreviated microfarad

In short they are the same. BTW, what's the x? Is it just that your trying to denote any value?
