Hi every body. A friend of mine found an old (60' - 70' ?) wha pedal. it's a grey plastick box with two stomp switches, a toggle switch and two pots. it has a logo (Schaller) on it's front. a (really) short glipms inside showes a duel concentric pot, twho inductors, really old parts and from some reason a Ge fuss CRKT (I think my friend's dad put it in), can anyone tell me more abput this pedal, or has a schamtic of this model?

Here you go, for future reference the "Schematics" links up at the top of the forum window (to the right of the logo) has a bunch of schems.

This has the note that it "could have errors"

Additionally,
Quote8/3/01 - (Jens) The 22nF capacitor has to go to the base of the second BC239C, not the collector!

So make note of that. Hope that's what you're looking for!

the last time i cleaned up my apartment.. (long, long time ago) i found a schaller WHA WHA FUZZ under my bed!!! the pot needs to be replaced though.. it's very noisy. the fuzz sounds cool though. it also operates as a volume pedal when the wah mode isn't on.. if anyone knows anything about this pedal.. let me know    is it worth some money? what did your friend pay for that pedal? this one has the plastic cover too with grey paint.  probably the ugliest pedal ever made

The Schaller/Kent wah/yoy-yoy pedal is one of my favourites.  If you've never heard it, the "yy" function sounds like someone trying to wah with a peanut butter sandwich in their mouth, almost as if you can't quite get your mouth fully open.  A very different tone and feel from simply bumping over the range-setting cap as some wahs do.  I do believe this particular sound is featured on guitar in the legendary Manu Dubango song "Soul Makossa" (and baby, it don't get funkier than that).  Worth repairing and/or duplicating.

Mark, do you know whether the schematic mentioned above is correct?
