Pickup, depends on the pickup what results
 Wiring also the guitar wiring
Tube reportedly these devices sound not worse through a VOX circuit of some type I think AC30 top boost or something like that [Actually this or the transistor could have easily made the top of the list in of  chain devices, every link seeming to matter on these devices].
Q the transistor is the engine...
C the caps if you use high end like Silver Mica and tune the values to your liking
R possibly some mileage could be percieved by using low tolerance resistors for the bias on the base. Find the values before ordering
 S switch
 Jacks
 case
The only thing I know about the CC is it's rep, and that it is purported to be a one Q, Ge booster.
I kind of gave up lookng for the transistor...well I found a couple that I like, but My Rmaster sounds not like some clips, I've seen pics of Rangemasters
cables, I noticed a big difference in different type cables, I got a big set 'o monsters about 8 years ago and have made one repair to the set.
 speakers.
alot of this would seemingly go without saying, but in tunning a delicate/sensative/gainy HF response, all these things matter, some more than others.
Convention creates following, following creates convention.

Doesn't that particular "rangemaster" use a Si transistor?
