Hey Guys,
A while back, after a discussion about it on this forum, Paul@Frostwave in Austrailia mailed me a schematic of an old ELEKTOR(German) article of an "EnvelopeExtraktor".  I've scanned it, cleaned it up and added info on the 571 compander chip that it uses in an interesting way.
I sent it to Casey, but I guess his buckets a little full right now
Does anyone else want to post it??

I got 2 versions--- 560K, 200dpi and 165K, 100dip.
