Adding a line in to a ruby amp

I was wondering about how to do this, will it work adding it in parallel with the guitar input ?

I'd like to put a cd man in this line in and play under the sun!

you could do that, or you could use the same input, but with appropriate attenuation to bring the line level down to instument level. Have the attenuation circuit on a switch and just make sure it's set correctly before turning the volume up!
