For those of you in the U.S., Target Stores have the black case 9v in packs of two for a dollar.  I bought twenty.

thats a cool deal. have you seen that supercapacitor 9v adaptor thing they did a while back   where they take a supercapcitor and use a couple of transistors to make a voltage doubling circuit and a charging circuit so you can charge it with a 1A 9v source in like 45 seconds.  its pretty snazzy and supposedly you can use it for anything you would normally use a 9v for.
