I just got done building this for about twenty dollars. A very simple pedalboard with just a wallwart, volume pedal, tuner and delay pedal. You can see it here: http://www.diyguitarist.com/DIYStompboxes/CompactPedalBoard.htm

Just for anyone who might be thinking of doing something similar.

Sweet!  Okay, I need me a nylon carrying case like that...might be time for a trip to Wal-Mart ;)

My pedalboard now consists of only three pedals...Vox Wah/Axis Wah, Modified OD250 clone, and the Tremulus Lune...so a small pedalboard is going to be the ticket.

Paul:

Oddly enough, I did something similar a few years back.  I put a mini-pedalboard into a laptop case.  Everything was designed to stay in the case.  When it came time to play, I was supposed to just have to open the case and plug in power, signal in and signal out.  My technology for keeping the case propped open did not always work as designed, and, as you've experienced, a small pedalboard makes things a little cramped for your foot.

But your workmanship is much higher than mine (for now   ).  Excellent work!

David,

I was thinking I would pull the board out of the case, but I'll try to use it in the case and see how it goes. The small size doesn't bother me, I have kinda small feet. As for workmanship, it's hard for me to make something that looks homemade - I'm just too much of a perfectionist when it comes to this sort of thing...

Yeah, I've got the family to raise, too. Money isn't that big of an issue for me, though. I just like the challenge of trying to make something useful of what most people think is junk and spending practically nothing to do it.  8)

Well, maybe something like I have done would be ticket for you then!
