I'm looking at making 4 membrane switches (like in the picture) each on it's own board which can be 1/2in x 1/2in.

Can I purchase the rubber top and metal/copper underneath and place it on pcb board or do I need a company to print the board with the switch on it.

If the company is the only way does anyone have any suggestions at some companies to look into?

Thanks

Ansil

the metal below the membrane is and can be etched into the board.

as for the membrane switch there is a bout a thousand of those in microwaves vcr's old computer monitors  how about remote controls. hmmm those are always nice.  cell phones.  etc etc

That board bit looks like gold flashed copper.
The top part comes on a roll, and you press it into the holes.
But, as Ansil says, the way to go is to chop up some domestic gear.

But I don't think these buttons are a good idea in any case, a metal dome switch (snap action momentary closed) is a much nicer feel & more reliable.
