Dual tap tempo switch???

Hi.  I'm a forum newbie, and I have a question about a crazy idea I have.  I would like to run two Boss DD-5's (which I have modded) in parallel with a single tap tempo controlling them both.  This way, I can have a quarter note delay on one unit in stereo with a dotted eighth delay on the other (i.e. U2's "The Edge").  In order to do this, I need a momentary switch circuit that shorts both tap tempo lines to ground when the switch is depressed (like the Roland FS-5U switch, but with two circuit paths and two inputs).  A single tap tempo circuit, as far as I can tell, looks like this (I need one that will work on both DD-5's at the same time)...

DD-5 Tap Tempo Jack  --(single 1/4" cable*)-->  Mom. Short to Ground

 * tip is positive/sleeve negative

What kind of switch would I need to do this?  The FS-5U uses a DPDT, I believe, but it needs this for its "polarity" switch (makes it a momentary "making" circuit).  Any suggestions on a circuit design/switch to do this?  Any replies will be most appreciated.  Thanks!

I made a tap tempo box for my DD-5 using a SPST momentary switch. My thought is to use a DPDT momentary switch with two seperate jacks. Should work. Just make sure you make the polarities the same for both jacks. You may need to use isolated jacks, too. The polarity switch on the FS-5U didn't really have any effect on the operation of the DD-5 that I could tell...
