I am interested in tubes that would work well at voltages between 100 and 35 volts.  anyone have any ideas... being easy to find, sounding good, and not being rediculously expensive would be cool too.

One fairly low voltage tube that audiophiles love is the 6dj8, I have been thinking that when I get caught up on my other projects I will fool around with a couple.Damn, who am I kidding, get caught up,,,,geeez

oops!
Just saw the power tubes part. Hmmmm, one I have played with(though at a higher voltage) is the 12fx5. Really nice sounding if you beat the crap out of it.
Have you looked at the Sopht amp page? Stephane has some cool stuff that I'm going to try in a couple of weeks when my tubes get here.
Some of the very old battery power tubes are the 3s4, 1s4, 3a4.
Ummmmm,  Thats all I can think of off the top of my head.
Hope it helps

Hi Brian,

maybe look at 12C5/12CU5 (or 6C5, 6CU5).  Supposed to be able to produce 2.3Watts at roughly 110-120V.

Cheers,
Stephane.

check out the 8watt amp from the late Genius Fred he did the dogzilla which is freakin amazing but there is a little 8watt that he did and the tubes only need around 150v and do 5watts i believe.
