What size fuse for a 56VA Transformer?

I bought 2 amp fuses and I know that's too large. What size do I need? It's only a 1.56amp tranny. I'm guessing maybe 1amp fast acting?

either would probably work.
56VA is 1.5A(max) with 37.3333V
[37.333 x 1.5 = 56VA]
the idea of a fuse is 2 prevent a short circuit.
Or blow in case of (input) overvoltage.
37V into a 9V reg is gonna dissipate a *lot* of heat.
The reg has got to get rid of the excess voltage somehow.
