Dist+ perfboard layout?

Does anyone have a perfboard layout for an MXR Distortion+? The Tonepad PCB layout should be easy enough to wire up on perf, but if there's something more suitable out there already I'd like to go off of that. I searched and didn't come up with anything.

Nobody? Tonepad layout it is!

You could adapt (with the proper values) the tube reamer layout on ROG to the D+.

Hooked it all up and...

NO SOUND! YAY! Just what I want from a distortion pedal. The weirdest thing is that from input to output I have continuity, yet I get no sound... WTF? :?:

>>>Check for ground at signal path.

Did some probing. I have signal up until R2, R3, and R4 come together. The signal disappears right there. All of the components are still working so nothing is burned up, I just don't have any signal where they come together. That's damn near nonsensical. If C1 was reversed would that cause a problem like this? I don't think it is, but electronics don't like me.

No path to ground there. I have signal at 3, but no output from 6. I swapped out the 741 for a TL071 and nothing changed. The TL071 is known good (pulled from my Tube Reamer) so it's not a dead opamp. I'm completely lost as to where to go now.

I'm using the Tonepad PCB layout, with wires in place of traces. There are no ground connections to the opamp other than the one that's supposed to be there on pin 4. I have gone around every trace on the board with a razor saw to make sure of it. I'll take a look at it again later. I just stabbed my eye with a heat sink and don't feel like soldering any more right now. I feel so gimpy right now it's not funny.

Okay, maybe it's a LITTLE funny.

It's amazing how dangerous electronics is.  It's like an extreme sport!  Eye injuries, burns, poisoning, electrocution...  Crazy!

Quote from: TorchyOk, Ive seen the tonepad layout. You got power to pin 7 ?

Sure do. 7.1v, but that's because my battery is a bit weak. It was enough to power the Tube Reamer a couple of days ago.
