puretube-

Was that a prototype of yours?

Quote from: puretubewell, this one was not "close-able": too many wires!
(only works when opened up - guess I need a bigger box...)

We have a winner.

well, ehh, it still is...

(in fact, it is the "small signal-" section of the
Hendrixson "Wahcaster" amp
with built-in "3D stereo-chorus" - gotta find a pic...)

the guts of this one are implemented in it, too:

Ton, I think you went on the same "birds nest " course as I.
Stephen
"I want my meat burned, like St Joan. Bring me pickles and vicious mustards to pierce the tongue like Cardigan's Lancers.".

Stephen, what I`ve seen from your Veroboard pics, they look quite neat...

(in the amp-version of the "Space-Vibwahto" i.e. in the "Wahcaster",
I did lots of the control-wiring by PCB traces, with PCB-mounted rotary switches [reduces number of switches, too], but in the stompbox I wanted dedicated toggles... - there are also 4 FSRs for speeding up/down the 2 LFOs of the stereo-panner module, the Wah, and the intensity -
all Pure-Tube signal path, of course: the SS you see is just CV...).

NaBo

you, sir, are insane...  and my hero.

that is AWESOME.  it's even better because it comes SO CLOSE to being able to fit, but just doesnt.

puretube

err, in my own defense:
the TUBE-WAH(TM) does fit into the box! :

and worx!

its filter core is the same as in the E-H Tube Zipper...

Paul Marossy

Wow, puretube, you're a maniac!

I like the layout of the tube wah. It's kind of a challenge fitting tubes into a reasonably small enclosure.

Ooops - of course there`s a pic of the "WahCaster" on the web:

which was to be seen and heard @ MusikMesse Frankfurt 1998, one year before the Harmony-Central owners/team
launched their first almost-live-coverage...

This thing is supposed to be reaaaal cramped . Theres like 25 tubes in the pre-amp alone, and none of them are tubes that should be used for anything audio-related. You're not supposed to be able to have this thing on for more then a few hours, else it could possibly catch on fire from all those tubes being so cramped.
I love the smell of baked tubes in the morning.

By the way, this is the thread,
where our lurking friend can obviously see
where his favorite administrator madman/zjokka
has stolen "his" imaginary images,
as can be seen by the following screenshot of HIS public photobucket-account... :
