Albert Kreuzer Bass Preamp mods?

I'm doing a PCB layout of this unit and I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions for a couple of additions. I'd like to add a buffered FX loop and a balanced line out for recording and/or PA use.

Anyone know where to find a schematic for an FX loop that would work here?

A transformer balanced line out would be good I guess but where should I tap it from?

Any suggestions are appreciated.  I could really use a bass preamp in my home studio for recording direct and I would also like to get a small power amp and speaker cab for rehearsals.
