I was looking at a build report on tonepad that said a 250k pot was used and a lofi 3 second repeat was obtained on the rebote 2 delay. I also noticed on the moosapotamus site(which is sooo cool, sound samples rock) that the pt80 could be modded to do the same thing. Now this is probably a sdilly question to ask, but is the delay lo fi all the time or just in the more extreme settings, like would it sound regular up to the 500ms and then gradually get more lofi or sound the same from 1ms on.  I don't really understand, please pardon my ignorance.

Just in the more extreme settings...
It gets more grainy (lo-fi) sounding as the delay time is increased.
You will not get that same grainy/lo-fi sound at shorter delay times.

i just built one and included moosapotomus' mod on it.  When the resistor is switched in series with the pot things start to get pretty gritty, especially nearest the end (~100k) I was wondering myself how it would sound with a 250 or even 500k pot.  I use the pedal to make noise in between songs and the grittier the better so for me the mod works out good.  If you're going for a clean delay forget it.  Experiment and see what happens, but yes up to about ~60k it will be nice and clean.
