i just asking.. if i wanna change it to a super brightness White or Blue led ... do i need to change the resistor along??

and izzit 5mm or 3mm led?

if i need to change the resistor.. how much izzit?

Hi, yes the LED in the TS-9 is a 5mm, I have to say that they are a bit "fiddly" to install, so you have to be careful !!
The "long" leg on a new LED is "+ positive" and it connects to the "smaller" portion of metal inside the LED, when you look at it.
you have to get this right or you'll have no LED working on your pedal !.
They should cost about 1 Euro for super bright and you will need to adjust the resistor that limits the current to the LED.
I can't remember exactly, but its in the middle of the board towards the back, where the cables attach to the board, there's also a "zener diode" that connects to the LED.
Do a "TS9" search, or look back a few pages, there was a tutorial with photo's of the TS-9 board last week.

yeah i saw tat.. hahah .. i know hwo to install the LEd.. but i jsut wondering how to mod the limiter.. so it could be more brighter..

Btw where can i get this LED zener diode?

MartyMart

Aha ! I just posted that link above, it points to the resistor and zener diode.
You will have to change the 100 ohm resistor ( between 1.5k to 4.7k depends how bright you want it/how much battery life is reduced !! ) and possibly remove the zener diode and use a "jumper" wire instead ( from a trimmed component )  I have to do this on a few Boss pedals with "ultra bright" LED mods.
Try just the resistor change and LED first, see how that looks before removing the zener diode.

Thanks !!!
Just remember that it will "eat" batteries a LOT quicker now !!
