Here are some very quick & dirty clips recorded with my green les paul w/P-100s. I wanted to illustrate the difference between using the pedal into a very clean amp, and one with some front end gain happening. These are recorded direct to my computer's soundcard through my ancient Digitech PDS1002.
Low gain on soundcard
Higher gain on soundcard

More to come

Here's another one with the highest freq setting on the parametric boosted all the way. I playing a bunch of pinch harmonics to show what she'll do if you wind er' up!

Sorry, lost this clip.

Isnt anyone that listened gonna say anything about the fact that the playing ("Fckn Rocked!!) Thats the kind of stuff I play so I guess Im biased. Was that  your tune or someone else? Seemed so very Lynyrd Skynyrd.
"I think somebody should come up with a way to breed a very large shrimp. That way, you could ride him, then after you camped at night, you could eat him. How about it, science?"

First, thanks for the kind words, I certainly appreciate them.

The first riff was a Drivin' & Cryin'(Kevin Kinney) song that I dig a bunch. The rest of it's just improv. I wasn't thinking too much about it.

I was gonna do a bunch more with different EQ settings, but I had to take my wife to the hospital last night & sit there till 4:00am. They think she's got a gall bladder problem. They gave her drugs & sent her home, but she's supposed to have an ultrasound today to try to see if it is indeed her gall bladder. Only problem is, it's x-mas eve, and they said the only way she'd be able to get an ultrasound today is through the ER(yet again).

Reminds of the x-mas eve of 98' when my mom passed away.

Sorry if I've bummed anybody out, but I am gonna do some more clips with different guitars and EQ settings and stuff.

Peace

I was just listening through the computer speakers, no phones. This worked much better than last time cause I'm on a computer with a better soundcard.

Thanks, your english is fine. Here's the best explanation of the human gall bladder I could find on the net.

The gallbladder is a pouch-shaped organ which lies near the liver.   It accepts bile from the liver, and stores it.  Bile is a watery, greeny-yellowish fluid produced by the liver which aids in the digestion of fatty foods.  It contains bile salts, bile pigments, cholesterol and phospholipids.  In the gallbladder, the bile is concentrated by the reabsorption of water from it.  When food is digested, the gallbladder releases bile into the small intestine where it is able to help dissolve fats.  The most common disorder of the gall bladder is gallstones.

Here is a couple of samples to show what the parametric actually does. The 1st one is with the gain all the way down and the boost/cut knob all the way to cut while sweeping through the frequency knob. The 2nd is the same except with the boost/cut knob on full boost.
CUT FREQ SWEEP
BOOST FREQ SWEEP

Thanks, we couldn't get anything done about her condition cause it's X-Mas and all. She's in pain right now although she went to sleep a minute ago. Tomorrow will be a long day.

I wanted to mention that the hum in the clips is from the computer monitor.

They're now saying that my wife has gallstones, and that she'll have to probably tough out the pain and pass them.

I had a friend who had to pass gallstones — not a fun activity, from what I hear.  :(  Sorry to hear of your wife's malady!

On a lighter note:
Cool sounds; cool playing for sure.  I just wanted to say that I have a green Les Paul, too!  I thought I was the only one...

mine's a Les Paul Special.  I got the body and neck from Warmoth.

A few years back I had to have keyhole surgery to remove the gall bladder due to gall stones which are apparently a build up of calcium, after suffering excrutiating pain prior to the op I know EXACTLY how your wife is feeling and my heart goes out to her bigtime, hope they deal with it pronto.

I just got a bad update, it's not her gall bladder but her liver. There's a large cyst that seems to have fatty deposits, which there are almost no good outcomes for. A CT scan is upcoming, but it will be a long 4 hours.
