Hiii,

I was working on a optical vibrato today, all made from transistors, with a phase shift oscillator. and it struck me that (to quote one of the ROG guys "slow speeds are a weak point of the phozer") you could possibly get a good lfo speed range by simply using a dual pot in the lfo.
Any takers on what would be a good value? or is there a problem i have failed to spot??

The reason that slow speeds are the weak point are not that it can't do it, but rather that what creates the phasing is the fast and slight change of frequency.  Otherwise our ear can't notice it...  that's why slow vibes don't sound great at all.  That was what you were asking right?

Yeah, Colin is right. You won't really hear any effect when you run the LFO at slow speeds in that circuit...
