I will try to Perf Board it this weekend!

Ah, OK you're "perfing" not "vero-boarding" then !
Will you use the vero as a "parts" layout for perf ?

Yup,  I have actually never Vero boarded anything yet .  Not even sure how to cut the copper on those things??  Plus I have perf laying around.

GREAT CIRCUIT.  :icon_biggrin:

The most recent version on the board replaces the 3rd stage with 2 LED's to ground.   :icon_cool:

You should give it a try -- great stuff !
Cut the copper with a few twists of a 5mm drill bit, between your fingers :D

OK I have some issues,  did not initialy fire up.  D1 I used a 1n4001 and for the trannys I used 5088s.

When i probed it I was getting signal only before the base of the first tranny. Help

MartyMart

5088's are much lower gain and will have their "flat side" facing the input on my diagram
that's the correct pinout !  C top B,  E bottom
Some 5089's are that way too !
I have 5089's that are both versions of the pinout !
1N4001 for reverse power protection is fine :D
Tripple check the pinout and connections,  OK ?
