4558 and 4559 interchangable?

Are the 4558 and 4559 chips interchangable? I've heard the 4559 has a litlle more umph to it. Any thoughts?

INterechangable yes, a little different as you described, I think that's about it.

Yes you can interchange those, IMHO the Panasonic NE5532 sounds much better, a bit more "hi-fi" and quieter.
