Just wanted to share my latest mod with you. Got the modding tips from another topic here...think it was MartyMart who suggested these mods. I made some of them and whent for a 3PST switch to regulate the boost in three stages. Factory, little and more boost. Found the original Boss schem here aswell. Thought it was hard to read so I used my Illustrator skills to redraw the schem and export it as a PDF.

Here is the redrawn schem.
Here is my modded schem.

Nice one !!
It was originaly "Wampcat1's" mod, so keep it quiet please !!
I did say "sorry" for posting it here . . . .
I'm just about to put a 'vol" control on mine, rather than a switch, but the tiny "dual concentric" knobs are sooo expensive !!

EDIT: you have two R19's on your schem !!

Wampcat1: Thanx for the Mod suggestions BTW. I thought it was MartyMart who was father to them. I changed the 5.6 V Zener to a 4.7 V to match the new Superbright LED.

gotcha! ;)

Did you try the 'speed' mod...you can make the rate so really fast, or reaaaalllllyyyyy slow? I like to make that switchable myself. :)

No...not yet 8)
I would like to have a stompswitch that puts the depth to zero so I can change Tremolo/clean boost easily. I'll try some diferent solutions and post..when I'm satisfied.

Hey,
Sorry for being ignorant but I am very new to this, could you post written instructions for this mod, i am new to reading schematics and I dont exactly understand what youve done with "C7" or how you wired the extra resistor. Also, is the extra resistor what gives you the volume boost?
thanks,
David

Basstyra

Yep, the resistor, changing the opamp gain, changes the output volume. C7 has been simply removed.

kojjum, what is this M5207 ?? I found a sort of voice device on alldatasheet.com. It can't be an op amp as there isn't feedback (is this the right word to name the part that link output and inverting input ?).

Is this this, and if so, how is it wired ?
