I was working on my G&L F-100 trying to see if I could mod the active electronics but all I accomplished was to fry the LM4250CN chip. I tried looking for a replacement, but it seems that it has been discontinued. Does anyone have any ideas?

I went to NTE's site and looked up there replacement cross-listing:

Here's the part number:
NTE944M

and the search page that will get you a description PDF:

You can pick these up at Fry's if you are desperately in need of it in a hurry.  Itherwise I think you can get it at Mouser, Digikey, or some other supplier.

EDIT: Sorry, I forgot to say you put the "LM..." part number, not the "NTE" part number in this search bar

oh poop! it's going to be a $3 mistake I won't make again.

Thanks Mindwave!

$1.39 at Digikey, if you were putting an order together. (postage will kill you if that is all you need).
